Welcome all to our humble blog. Pictured above are the intrepid adventurers or as the blog title suggests "the lunatics". This photo was taken at Maria, Damo, Isabelle and Josephine's house where we had our first sampling of Spanish fare. It was a great night catching up with old friends and if the hospitality in Spain is even half as good we are in for an enjoyable journey ( ha ha maybe after the walking is finished :-))

 



The next steps

After the success? of the SWABS initial outing a few years ago the intrepid explorers have organised to walk the last 100klms of the Camino in Spain to be followed by the seniors version of a kon tiki tour through Spain and Portugal kicking off in Madrid and ending some 4 weeks later in Barcelona. Unfortunatley one of the founding fathers Alwyn cannot join the adventurers for this sorty however he has most ably been replaced by Eric Chew leaving the final touring party as Peter Gunning, John Rufus, Eric and Colin Spence We will be attempting to regularly update our blog to keep everyone informed of the adventures.
